Our own Robin Chesmer spoke at the Annual meeting of the Southbury Land Trust on May 14th. Three-year-old Kate particularly enjoyed the ice cream and summer beverages! Thanks to Gosia Liedlich for the pics.
The next generation of TFC farmers, all members of FFA (Future Farmer's of America), met with Governor Malloy at the May meeting of the Working Lands Alliance.

The family farms of The Farmer's Cow are proud of the interest and commitment to agriculture that is shown by our next generation of farmers.
Farmers Ned Ellis and Bill Peracchio from The Farmer's Cow check out a plaque featuring The Farmer's Cow at the Legislative Office Building in Hartford. The display explained the benefits of the state's Community Investment Act.

What do you get when you combine free ice cream with hungry college students? The answer: A huge line.
TFC handed out pints of 'Farmer Flubs' ice cream at UConn in April. It was unbelievable how quick the word got out and quickly we gave it away…..just goes to show the power of free ice cream!
